BRIT Needs YOU!

How together we can bring about change…
Last week I wrote about BRIT’s role in helping young people facing adversity to regain, and in some cases, develop their self-belief. BRIT’s goal is to help them on this first step, thereby inspiring them to move forward in a positive manner. Peoples’ belief in me helped me regain my self-belief and achieve the challenges I set for myself. Now I’m facing my biggest challenge ever, the building of the BRIT Centre.

I need the public’s help to build BRIT.
In founding BRIT I have been clear that I will not ask the public for donations as I do not want to take away money from existing charities. BRIT wants to partner with charities and build the BRIT Centre for them and not replace them, nor supplicate effort. Also, I realize that people and charities are struggling in the economy right now. This is why I am trying to raise the funds for BRIT through a pledge campaign aimed at corporations and some high net worth individuals, but I still need the public’s help and support.

How can you help?
The public can play an integral role though in helping build BRIT by joining us and registering their belief in BRIT. The power of a group of people supporting a cause is remarkable and can bring about change. Signing up on our website, Facebook and Twitter will show corporations that hundreds of thousands of people are supporting BRIT and the work we will do at the Centre.

Empower your friends to support BRIT.
BRIT Mentors (inspirational figures from every sector of society) are pledging to gift 24 hrs at the BRIT Centre where they will inspire young people. There are now 40,000 followers on the BRIT website. If each of those supporters emails this blog to just 24 friends and encourages them to follow, BRIT can have 1,000,000 followers by the end of next week. Then if those friends send this blog challenge out to their friends we can keep multiplying the support for BRIT.

You can play a huge role in building BRIT.
Get the message out to your families and friends. By showing corporations that the public supports and believes in BRIT sends a powerful message for them to back BRIT. You have a vital role to play in the building of BRIT. Just as your encouragement and support propelled me on my earlier challenges, I need your support now. You empower my self-belief that together we can build BRIT and inspire a generation of young people facing adversity.

BRIT Needs YOU! I cannot do this on my own, and I’m asking for your support. Please help to get the message out to everyone you know and let’s grow the website, twitter and Facebook, showing corporations the public supports and believes in BRIT.
